Accountant Job Profile:

• Preparation of financial statements as per applicable accounting standards.
• Handle GST, TDS, income-tax and other statutory compliances.
• Assist in monthly/quarterly MIS reporting, management reporting and financial analysis.
• Support statutory audit, internal audit and tax audit activities and coordinate with auditors.
• Prepare tax workings, reconciliations and supporting schedules for assessments and statutory requirements.
• Review general ledger, trial balance, bank reconciliations, vendor/customer balances and inter-company transactions.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely compliance with Companies Act, Income-tax Act, GST laws and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, auditors and tax professionals for various accounting and compliance matters.
• Support management in financial decision-making, process improvement and internal controls.

Required Skills:

• Good Knowledge of Tally Accounting Software
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality.
