Manager - Electrical design

As an Electrical Design Manager at Koncepo Scientech International Private Limited, your role is crucial in leading and managing a team of electrical engineers to deliver high-quality electrical designs and engineering solutions for various projects. Your responsibilities cover the entire project lifecycle from initial concept through to commissioning, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant codes and standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Electrical Design Development:** Create and develop detailed electrical designs. - **Technical review and quality assurance:** Review and verify design team outputs to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with relevant codes and standards. - **Integration and Project Coordination:** Collaborate with MEP, structural, and architectural teams, and coordinate with vendors to ensure proper system integration and equipment validation. - **Documentation and Standards Compliance:** Prepare detailed engineering documents and ensure designs meet applicable standards and safety regulations. - **Team leadership and development:** Lead, mentor, and manage the electrical design team, ensuring effective performance and professional growth. - **Client and stakeholder engagement:** Serve as the main technical contact for clients, ensuring designs meet requirements and addressing project concerns. - **Cost and budget control:** Prepare BOQ, monitor, and control design-related costs to identify value engineering opportunities. - **Site and commissioning support:** Provide technical support during site installations, testing, and commissioning, and assist with troubleshooting any issues that arise. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's in electrical engineering. - 10-15 years of experience in a managerial or senior role within an engineering consultancy. - Strong knowledge of power systems, including high- and low-voltage systems. - Proficiency with industry-standard design software such as AutoCAD Electrical, Revit, or ETAP. - Expertise in control systems, PLCs, and VFDs for specialized projects.
