Manager - Business Consulting - Analytics

Role Overview: As a Manager - Business Consulting - Analytics at HSBC, you will provide analytical support to Global / Regional business teams across risk operations analytics, product analytics, and customer journey and experience. Your responsibilities will include developing data-based approaches to business problems, executing projects with accuracy and quality, producing high-quality data and reports to support process improvements, and ensuring compliance with applicable policies and standards. You will be a key player in driving Business Intelligence and analytical initiatives aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Provide analytical support to Global / Regional business teams - Develop data-based approaches to business problems including descriptive and predictive analytics - Trend Analysis and Dashboard Creation using visualization techniques like Qliksense - Produce high quality data and reports supporting process improvements and decision-making - Execute projects within agreed timelines and quality standards - Develop and execute Business Intelligence / analytical initiatives - Understand and interpret analysis reports to support compliance and regulatory requirements - Ensure adherence to compliance policies and business standards Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in the data analytics industry - Knowledge and understanding of banking and financial services preferred - Bachelors or masters degree from a reputed university in Engineering / Economics / Maths or Stats - Expertise in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, Pyspark, and Excel - Strong visualization skills using Qlik Sense, Power BI - Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and ability to connect dots between multiple use cases - Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken - Ability to work in cross-functional teams and drive for success Additional Details: HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organizations globally, operating in 62 countries and territories.
