Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled Turret Machine Programmer to create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for turret punch presses. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal fabrication, CNC programming, and machine setup to ensure high-quality production and efficiency. Key Responsibilities : Program Development : Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for turret punch machines using CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Machine Setup & Operation : Set up and test turret punch machines to ensure proper operation and efficiency. Blueprint Interpretation : Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine job requirements. Tooling Selection : Choose appropriate tools, punches, and dies for different materials and production requirements. Quality Control : Inspect first-run and production parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards. Process Optimization : Improve programming and machine utilization to reduce cycle times and material waste. Troubleshooting : Diagnose and resolve issues related to programming, tooling, or machine performance. Collaboration : Work closely with engineers, production supervisors, and machine operators to improve processes. Documentation : Maintain records of programs, setups, and adjustments for future reference. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field. Experience with CNC programming and turret punch presses (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, Yawei). Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, Metalic , Mastercam, or proprietary turret programming software). Strong understanding of sheet metal, material properties, and tooling. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings. Experience with G-code and M-code programming is a plus.
