What we're looking for Working experience and expertise in the following technologies: COBOL, VSAM, DB2, CICS, SAS on IBM Mainframe Code, test, debug, implement, and documents programs. Assist in the modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet the needs of the client and/or end-user Gather information from the system, analyze program and time requirements, and prepare documentation to change existing programs Research and analyze existing systems and program requirements, under periodic supervision Design programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs Write specifications for programs of moderate to high complexity Assist in resolving production problems. Develop and suggest alternative approaches to resolving problems Develop test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. Identify issues as appropriate Create appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews Complex SQL work experience and query tuning expertise Exposure to U.S. Healthcare domain is a plus
