The Sailor will be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the operations and maintenance of ships. Daily tasks include navigating vessels, performing routine maintenance, operating equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and assisting in loading and unloading cargo. The Sailor will also be required to participate in safety drills, maintain cleanliness of the vessel, and monitor vessel supplies. Collaborating with the ship's crew to ensure efficient and safe vessel operations is also a key responsibility. Qualifications Navigation, equipment operation, and maritime operational skills Maintenance and repair skills Experience in performing routine and emergency inspections and safety drills Ability to follow safety protocols and regulations Basic knowledge of vessel supply management Good physical health and stamina to handle the demands of the role Strong teamwork and communication skills Relevant certifications or maritime qualifications are desirable
