As a Quality Executive in an Automobile Parts Manufacturing company, your main responsibilities will include: - **Incoming Material Inspection:** - Inspect raw materials and bought-out parts from suppliers to ensure they meet specifications before production. - Utilize tools like Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM for thorough inspection. - **In-Process Quality Control:** - Monitor various production processes such as machining, assembly, welding, and painting to ensure adherence to quality standards. - Conduct first-piece inspection (FPI) and patrol inspections on the shop floor to identify defects and take immediate corrective actions. - **Final Inspection and Testing:** - Perform final quality checks on parts before dispatch to customers, validating them against drawings and specifications. - Strive for zero-defect delivery to maintain high-quality standards. - **Quality Documentation:** - Prepare and maintain quality reports including Inspection Reports, NCR, CAPA, and PPAP. - Update control plans, work instructions, and check sheets to ensure accurate documentation. - **Logistics and Transportation:** - Manage efficient movement of goods in inbound and outbound logistics. - Handle transportation costs, carrier selection, delivery tracking, warehouse management, and inventory control effectively. **Requirements:** - Experience: 2-3 years in a similar role. - Education: Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
