Description
As a Magento Developer at IND Global, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining efficient and high-quality solutions. Reporting to the Technical Lead, your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in requirements gathering and technical planning to design solutions that meet client needs - Creating clean, well-documented, and standards-compliant code with a focus on performance optimization - Defining, designing, integrating, testing, deploying, and maintaining applications and tools written in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other languages - Developing custom modules for integration into various systems such as ERP, accounting, fulfilment, and marketing - Troubleshooting and supporting applications in production critical environments - Accounting for client short- and long-term goals when recommending solutions - Setting up, configuring, and optimizing enterprise-level e-commerce software and servers - Providing technical leadership in the development and delivery of solutions - Troubleshooting production application issues under pressure and defining a path to resolve them - Performing team code reviews, providing technical oversight, and mentoring team members in core skills - Implementing and maintaining Magento development standards and best practices **Primary Technical Skills:** - Magento 2.2 - PHP - OOPS - JavaScript - XML - JSON - Design Patterns - MVC **Required Skills:** - Building scalable, robust Web or e-commerce applications in OOP PHP - Experience with Magento 2.x - Experience with technologies such as Javascript, XML, JSON, SQL, PHP, CSS, HTML - Experience with OOP PHP, site optimization, theme integration, and customization - Understanding the MVC design pattern - Proficiency in authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents - Prior consulting experience - Ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience levels - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Some travel may be required for this position **Secondary Skills:** - Knowledge of PCI compliance and other e-commerce industry topics - Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms - Knowledge of caching and scaling techniques - Multi-website and store view deployment In addition, you should ideally have a BE qualification and 3 to 4 years of experience in the IT industry to effectively handle the responsibilities mentioned above.
