Magento CMS UI Developer

The Magento CMS UI Developer role involves designing and implementing features for a Magento-based e-commerce platform. This full-time on-site position in Bengaluru, India offers the opportunity to collaborate with leading experts in Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) technology within a supportive team environment. Responsibilities: - Design and Implement Features: Create user interfaces, optimize performance, and ensure a seamless shopping experience on the Magento-based e-commerce platform. - Customization and Development: Design, customize, and develop Magento themes and extensions to enhance the platform's visual aspects and user experience. - eCommerce Lifecycle Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the online shopping experience from product listing to checkout. - Responsive Design and Mobile-First Approach: Ensure platform responsiveness across devices and maintain a mobile-first approach for consistent user experience. - Clean and Well-Documented Code: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, test thoroughly for high-quality deliverables. - Magento Module Development: Develop custom Magento modules and templates, troubleshoot and resolve system integration or data-related issues. - JavaScript Libraries: Utilize JavaScript libraries like jQuery, Knockout.js, to enhance user interface and interactivity. - Configuration and Maintenance: Configure and maintain Magento 2.x sites and modules, keeping the platform secure, updated, and optimized. Qualifications: - Strong experience with Magento 2.x, PHP, HTML/CSS, and MySQL. - Proficiency in designing, customizing, and developing Magento themes and extensions. - Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, modern UI/UX trends, and design principles. - Experience with eCommerce lifecycle development, responsive design, and mobile-first approach. - Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, with thorough testing and debugging skills. - Good understanding of JavaScript libraries such as jQuery, Knockout.js, and others. - Configuration and maintenance of Magento 2.x sites and modules. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. - Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and excellent communication skills for efficient teamwork.
