1. Job Summary The D. Pharmacy Trainer is responsible for teaching, training, and mentoring Diploma in Pharmacy students as per the curriculum guidelines. The trainer ensures theoretical and practical knowledge delivery, skill development, and professional grooming of students for pharmacy practice in hospitals, community pharmacies, and industry. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Academic Responsibilities Teach subjects related to D. Pharmacy such as Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Biochemistry, Human Anatomy & Physiology, etc. Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and presentations. Conduct classroom lectures, lab sessions, demonstrations, and practical training. Monitor and evaluate students through assessments, assignments, and examinations. Maintain academic records, attendance, and student progress reports. B. Laboratory Responsibilities Conduct practical sessions in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, and other labs. Ensure safe and standardized laboratory operations. Maintain lab equipment, chemicals, and inventory. Guide students in experiments, dispensing, compounding, and lab techniques. C. Student Mentoring Provide academic guidance and counselling to students. Support students during hospital training, community pharmacy visits, and industrial exposure. Help students in developing professional ethics, communication skills, and workplace readiness. D. Administrative Responsibilities Assist in organizing workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and guest lectures. Participate in curriculum planning, academic audits, and accreditation activities. Maintain compliance with PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) norms and institutional requirements. 3. Required Qualifications Education: B.Pharm or M.Pharm (Preferred specialization: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Chemistry, Pharmacognosy). Experience: Minimum 1–3 years teaching or industry experience (freshers with strong academic background may also apply). Skills: Strong subject knowledge Good communication and presentation skills Practical handling of pharmacy labs Ability to guide and mentor students 4.
