M&A Tax

M&A Tax professional to support transaction tax, deal structuring, due diligence and tax advisory assignments for domestic and cross border transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage tax due diligence for acquisitions, investments and business restructuring. • Advise clients on M&A tax structuring, including share purchase, slump sale, merger, demerger and other restructuring options. • Analyse direct tax implications of transactions and identify key tax risks. • Support preparation and review of transaction documents from a tax perspective. • Work closely with legal, finance and transaction advisory teams. • Prepare client presentations, transaction reports and tax advisory notes. • Support client discussions and independently manage assigned engagements.

Candidate Profile

• CA preferred 3+ years of relevant experience in M&A Tax / Transaction Tax / Corporate Tax. • Experience with a Big 4, large consulting firm or reputed CA/advisory firm preferred. • Strong understanding of Indian direct tax regulations and transaction structuring. • Exposure to cross-border taxation, FEMA and international tax would be an advantage. • Strong analytical, communication and client management skills.
