Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Saharanpur for a Wooden Handicraft Manufacturer. The professional will engage in crafting and designing wooden products, ensuring precision and quality in finishes, and participating in the entire manufacturing process from selecting raw materials to completing finalized products. They will work closely with the design and production team to innovate and meet standards. Maintaining tools and machinery and adhering to safety protocols will also be significant aspects of this role. Qualifications Proficiency in woodworking methods, including cutting, shaping, and assembling wood. Experience in finishing techniques such as sanding, painting, and polishing. Ability to interpret design specifications and translate them into handcrafted products. Knowledge of tools and machinery used in wooden handicraft production. Attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality, aesthetically appealing products. Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment. Ability to collaborate with designers and other craftsmen or artisans to meet production needs. Prior experience in handcrafted manufacturing or a similar artisan role is preferred but not mandatory.
