Role & responsibilities Contracts & Agreements Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, MOUs, NDAs, vendor agreements, lease deeds, and other legal documents. Ensure contracts safeguard the companys interests and are aligned with legal and business requirements. Compliance & Regulatory Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations (Company Law, Labor Law, Environment, etc.). Monitor regulatory changes and update management on their implications. Liaise with statutory and regulatory authorities, as required. Dispute Resolution & Litigation Manage and coordinate litigation, arbitration, and other dispute resolution matters. Work with external counsel, provide instructions, and monitor case progress. Represent the company in legal proceedings, if required. Corporate Governance Assist in board meetings, shareholder matters, and compliance under Companies Act. Maintain statutory records and documentation. Risk Management Identify potential legal risks in business operations and provide mitigation strategies. Establish systems and processes to reduce legal exposure.
