Job description: Regional Analyst [Russia-Ukraine, Indo-Pacific, Middle Eastern, global energy and supply chain stability] Remote · Flexible Hours About the Position We invite talented Regional Analysts to join our International Affairs Research Team remotely. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with some of today’s most pressing global issues, ranging from the Russia-Ukraine War and Indo-Pacific strategic competition to Middle Eastern security dynamics, global energy and supply chain stability, and emerging market risks across Africa. As a Regional Analyst, you will draw on both open-source intelligence and internal information resources to deliver high-quality, actionable insights. Your work will involve assessing economic, security, and policy developments. Your research will culminate in structured reports presented to senior management, which will then be refined and customized by our internal team to provide clients with trusted decision support. About You We are looking for candidates who are deeply interested in global affairs, regional dynamics, and investigative research. The ideal candidate will be skilled in gathering and synthesizing information from diverse sources, ensuring its accuracy, and presenting clear, concise findings. Experience in intelligence analysis, geopolitical research, or similar fields is highly valued. This position demands the ability to work autonomously, handle multiple research projects simultaneously, and consistently meet deadlines while working remotely. What to Expect in This Position · Researching and analyzing assigned international events in depth · Gathering, validating, and integrating open-source and non-public information · Assessing the interplay of political, economic, security, and policy factors · Producing concise, structured written reports for a senior executive audience · Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality output What Sets You Apart · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Political Science, International Relations, Area Studies, Security Studies, Economics, or related fields (exceptional candidates with a high school diploma will also be considered) · 1+ years of relevant experience in international affairs, intelligence, or geopolitical analysis (exceptional recent graduates will be considered) · Ability to quickly develop expertise on unfamiliar topics · Excellent written communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage · Proficiency in research tools, databases, and information verification techniques · Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a remote setting Preferred Qualifications · Previous experience in think tanks, consulting firms, institutional agencies, or media intelligence departments · Cross-cultural or multinational project experience · Familiarity with risk assessment and trend forecasting methodologies Job Type: Full-time Work Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time Work Location: Remote Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
