LPO Fragrance

Key Responsibilities (JD) 1. Production & Operations Plan, organize, and control daily fragrance manufacturing operations Ensure batch production as per approved formulations and SOPs Meet production targets with minimal wastage and downtime Oversee compounding, blending, filling, and packing processes 2. Quality Control & Compliance Ensure products meet olfactory, physical, and regulatory standards Coordinate with QC/QA teams for batch approvals Maintain GMP, ISO, IFRA, and safety compliance Handle batch documentation, production records, and audits 3. Team Management Lead and supervise production staff, supervisors, and operators Conduct training on fragrance handling, safety, and SOPs Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance 4. Inventory & Material Management Coordinate with procurement for raw materials (aroma chemicals, essential oils) Ensure proper storage, labeling, and traceability Control stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking 5. Equipment & Safety Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of mixers, reactors, filling machines Implement safety protocols for handling chemicals and fragrances Reduce accidents, spills, and production risks 6. Coordination & Reporting Coordinate with R&D for new fragrance scale-up Work with sales & planning for demand forecasting Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports Required Qualification & Experience Education Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in: Perfumery Chemistry Chemical Engineering Industrial / Production Management (Perfumery certification preferred) Experience 3–8 years experience in: Fragrance / Perfumery manufacturing Aroma chemicals / FMCG fragrance units Experience in production planning & team handling is mandatory ⸻ Key Skills Required Strong knowledge of fragrance manufacturing processes Understanding of raw materials & aroma chemicals Leadership and people management Production planning & problem-solving Knowledge of GMP, IFRA, safety norms Good communication & coordination skills Job Information (Summary) Role Type: Full-time Department: Production / Manufacturing Reporting To: Plant Head / Operations Head Industry: Fragrance & Perfumery Location: Andheri East Growth Path: Senior Production Manager / Plant Head / Operations Manage Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹17,733.71 - ₹30,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
