Looker Specialist (BI)

The Looker Support Personnel will be responsible for providing Level 2 and Level 3 support for Looker, ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of Looker dashboards and reports. This role requires a deep understanding of Looker functionalities, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues. You will provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Looker, addressing and resolving technical issues related to dashboards, reports, and data models. You will collaborate with end-users to understand their requirements and provide solutions to enhance their experience with Looker. Performing root cause analysis for recurring issues and implementing corrective actions will be a key responsibility. Working closely with the development team to escalate and resolve complex issues is also part of this role. Monitoring Looker performance and conducting regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality will be essential. You will be required to document support processes and maintain a knowledge base for common issues and resolutions. Additionally, assisting in training and onboarding new users to Looker will be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in providing support for Looker or similar BI tools is necessary. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are a must, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial, as well as familiarity with SQL and data modeling concepts.,
