Role Overview We’re seeking a high-energy, growth-driven Business Development Associate to join our sales team. You will play a critical role in scaling our reach across the Indian education market by supporting the full sales cycle—from lead generation to client onboarding. Key Responsibilities Market Research & Lead Generation Identify potential clients in the education space including schools, colleges, coaching centres, and EdTech resellers; build outbound lists via LinkedIn, educational directories, and referrals. Outreach & Lead Qualification Conduct high-volume outreach via calls, emails, and WhatsApp to engage decision-makers; qualify prospects through discovery conversations and initial demos. Sales Pipeline Management Maintain and update CRM tools (e.g., LeadSquared, Salesforce) to track lead stages, communications, and follow-ups; support the senior BD team in converting qualified leads. Proposal & Pitch Support Collaborate with marketing and product teams to prepare custom proposals, pitch decks, pricing structures, and onboarding plans. Client Relationship Building Maintain regular engagement with prospects and clients post-sale to ensure seamless onboarding and satisfaction; coordinate with operations and customer success teams. Industry & Competitor Intelligence Stay updated on trends in EdTech, competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and client needs to inform go-to-market strategy. Collaboration & Feedback Loop Share insights and client feedback with internal teams to help improve product offerings and go-to-market alignment. Qualifications Essential Bachelor’s degree or above (preferred fields: Business, Marketing, Education, or Technology). 0–3 years of experience in B2B/B2C sales, business development, or client engagement (EdTech, SaaS, or education sector preferred). Strong communication skills (written and verbal); persuasive and engaging presentation style. Familiarity with CRM tools and outbound sales platforms (LeadSquared, Salesforce).
