Job Overview
Subzero Tube Tools Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Logistics Executive to manage and streamline our end-to-end domestic and export logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for negotiating rates with vendors, coordinating domestic and international shipments, tracking deliveries, and ensuring seamless communication with customers throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Management & Rate Negotiation:
- Source, negotiate, and finalize competitive freight rates from multiple transporters, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for both domestic and export shipments.
- Maintain strong working relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and service providers.
- Shipment Planning & Booking:
- Coordinate and book domestic and international cargo shipments (Air, Sea, Road/Courier).
- Prepare and inspect necessary dispatch and shipping documentation (Invoices, Packing Lists, Air Waybills, Bills of Lading, Customs Documentation, Certificate of Origin, etc.).
- Shipment Tracking & Follow-up:
- Monitor cargo movement from origin to destination to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Proactively resolve any transit delays, clearance bottlenecks, or logistics issues that arise during transit.
- Customer Communication & Updates:
- Provide timely dispatch updates, tracking details, and estimated delivery times (ETA) to domestic and international clients.
- Address customer inquiries regarding shipment statuses professionally and promptly.
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate logs and records of all dispatches, freight charges, and logistics reports.
- Ensure full compliance with domestic transportation rules and international export/import regulations.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in handling both domestic and export logistics/freight operations (manufacturing/engineering sector experience is a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of domestic freight, international freight forwarding, INCOTERMS, and export documentation.
- Proven negotiation skills to secure optimal freight rates.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for vendor coordination and customer service.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field.
Qualification required : Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA/BBM)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
