Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in patients of various age groups, with a focus on pediatrics. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and educators to develop individualized treatment plans that promote effective communication skills and enhance the quality of life for your patients. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Provide speech therapy services focusing on articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare providers to support the patient's progress. Utilize evidence-based practices in early intervention strategies for children. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Educate patients and families about speech disorders and therapeutic techniques. Stay current with advancements in speech therapy practices and medical terminology. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and communication. Experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to speech therapy practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient care. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
