Linux Video Lead

As an experienced Linux Multimedia Video Driver Developer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of Linux-based video driver architecture and user-space frameworks. Your role will involve owning the enablement and optimization of hardware video codecs (VPU/GPU) such as H.264, H.265/HEVC, VP9, AV1, etc. Additionally, you will be expected to develop and maintain V4L2-based drivers, media controller interfaces, and buffer management frameworks. Integration and optimization of video frameworks like GStreamer, FFmpeg, or OpenMAX will also be a key part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for seamless video driver integration and performance tuning is crucial for this role. Qualifications Required: - Strong hands-on experience in embedded Linux multimedia or video driver development. - Expertise with V4L2, DRM/KMS, and video codecs (hardware & software). - Deep understanding of Linux kernel architecture, memory management, and device tree. - Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Bash or Python. - Experience in video framework integration: GStreamer, FFmpeg, or OpenMAX.
