Linux Vehicle Lead Engineer Sr

As an experienced Software Engineer with 6 to 9 years of experience in the Linux embedded domain, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs. Your strong C/C++ programming skills will be essential for working on embedded platforms, including low-level drivers, firmware, and kernel and user-space components on Automotive Grade Linux and Yocto build system. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining the software stack for IVI and ADAS systems, as well as designing software for heterogeneous compute platforms with ARMs, GPUs, DSPs, and specialized hardware accelerators in embedded SoC systems. Your real-time software development experience for embedded products will be crucial, along with your ability to lead medium to large technical teams effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and support software solutions on multi-core ARM/CPUs - Work on embedded platforms including low-level drivers, firmware, and kernel and user-space components - Develop and maintain software stack for IVI and ADAS systems - Design software for heterogeneous compute platforms with ARMs, GPUs, DSPs, and specialized hardware accelerators - Lead medium to large technical teams effectively Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering experience OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering experience OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering experience - 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Experience working with senior management in a corporate environment - Hands-on technical lead with a disciplined approach to digitized services enabling - Experience in ISO26262/functional safety and safe Linux is highly recommended If you are motivated, have excellent communication skills, and are experienced in working with senior management, this role at Qualcomm India Private Limited might be a great fit for you.,
