Job Description: •   Educational Qualification: Must be a graduate (B. Tech/B.E./B.Sc./MCA or equivalent). •   Experience: 3 to 7 years of experience as a Linux/Unix System Administrator in enterprise environments. •   Core Linux Skills:  o   Strong understanding of Linux OS (RHEL, CentOS, Rocky, Ubuntu, SUSE). o   Ability to handle day-to-day administration tasks including user management, file systems, process management, performance tuning, and log analysis. o   Experience with system hardening and security best practices. •   Patching Lifecycle Management:  o   Hands-on experience with Linux OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and compliance (e.g., using tools like YUM/DNF, Spacewalk, Satellite, Landscape, or similar). o   Awareness of security benchmarks (CIS, STIG) is desirable. •   Automation Scripting:  o   Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash) is required. o   Exposure to automation tools such as Ansible / Puppet / Chef is highly desirable. o   Basic knowledge of Python scripting is a plus. •   Cloud Virtualization:  o   Basic working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and Linux workloads in cloud environments. o   Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V). •   Containers DevOps Exposure:  o   Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and basic understanding of Kubernetes/OpenShift. o   Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an added advantage. •   Monitoring Observability:  o   Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar. o   Ability to analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively. •   Troubleshooting Incident Management:  o   Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve system outages, performance issues, and incidents within SLA. o   Experience in handling production incidents and root cause analysis (RCA). •   Installation Upgrades:  o   Hands-on experience in Linux system installation, configuration, and upgrades. •   UNIX Variants (Optional):  o   Knowledge of other UNIX flavors like AIX, Solaris, HP-UX is an added advantage. •   ITSM Process Compliance:  o   Well-versed with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Requests). o   Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA Service Management. •   Certifications:  o   RHCE / RHCSA / LFCS / Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) preferred. •   Soft Skills:  o   Excellent written and verbal communication skills. o   Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams. o   Quick learner with adaptability to new tools and technologies. o   Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and customer-focused approach. ________________________________________ Years of Experience: •   3 to 7 Years ________________________________________ Work Timings: •   Willingness to work in rotational shifts with a 24x7 support model, including on-call support.Â
