Role Overview: As a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at Central University of Rajasthan, you will be part of a DBT sponsored research project aimed at identifying the role of Mycobacterium indicus pranii (MIP) in activating host innate immune response for the development of new intervention strategies to combat Tuberculosis. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in the field of life sciences under the guidance of Dr. Deeksha Tripathi. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research activities related to the project on Mycobacterium indicus pranii (MIP) and host innate immune response. - Assist in the development of new intervention strategies to combat Tuberculosis. - Collaborate with the project team to analyze results and prepare reports. - Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of life sciences. - Participate in online interviews and meetings as required. Qualifications Required: - Must hold a Masters degree in any branch of life sciences. - Freshers and highly motivated, research-oriented candidates are encouraged to apply. - Candidates with UGC NET/ CSIR NET, GATE, or any other national exam conducted by DBT, ICMR, ICAR, DRDO will be given preference. - Relevant hands-on lab experience in bioinformatics, biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology is desirable. - Research experience in the relevant area, along with publications in high impact peer-reviewed international journals, will be an advantage. - Proficiency in the English language (written and oral) and good presentation skills are desirable for this position.
