Lidar Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Powerline Classification:

  High-precision segmentation of transmission lines, wires, and pylons.

• Point Cloud Data Annotation:

  Work with Aerial, Terrestrial, and MLS point cloud datasets.

• Powerline Extraction:

  3D powerline extraction and vectorization for utility mapping.

• MLS LiDAR Integration:

  Execute MLS LiDAR processing with powerline 3D extraction workflows.

• Utility Data Annotation:

  Corridor modeling, clearance checks, and general utility mapping tasks.

Key Requirements

• Education:

  Degree or Diploma in GIS, Geoinformatics, or Engineering discipline.

• Software Skills:

  Knowledge of or active interest in 3D point cloud software (e.g.,

  Terrasolid

  ,

  MicroStation

  , etc.).
