Sales & Marketing Lead (Founding Team / Department Builder) Location: Remote/Noida Type: Part-time/Contract About Us We are a growing company building [insert your company’s core product/service in one line]. As we scale, we are looking for a dynamic professional to bootstrap and lead our Sales and Marketing efforts from the ground up. This is a high-ownership role where you will set the foundation, define processes, and drive results across customer acquisition, partnerships, and brand growth. Role Overview As our Sales & Marketing Lead , you will be responsible for creating and executing strategies to generate leads, close deals, and build brand visibility. You’ll be the first hire in this department, working directly with the founders to design the playbook for future growth and eventually build a team under you. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet revenue targets. Identify, reach out, and build relationships with potential customers, partners, and key accounts. Design and manage marketing campaigns (digital, social, events, and offline as needed). Set up sales processes, CRM tools, and reporting frameworks from scratch. Craft compelling sales materials, pitch decks, and proposals. Analyse customer feedback, market trends, and competitors to refine positioning. Collaborate with product and leadership teams to align sales and marketing efforts. Lay the foundation to scale the sales & marketing department—hire, train, and manage future team members. What We’re Looking For 2–5 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing (startup/early-stage experience preferred). Proven ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, and close deals. Strong grasp of digital marketing, including social media, SEO/SEM, content, and paid campaigns. Hands-on with CRM tools, analytics platforms, and marketing automation. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Entrepreneurial mindset: thrives in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments. Ability to work independently and take full ownership of outcomes. Nice to Have Experience in selling services (consulting), and SaaS products.
