Website: https://letstalkmedia.in/ Job Overview: The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. You’ll play a crucial role in helping the agency make informed financial decisions and maintain financial health as we scale. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Issue client invoices and follow up on outstanding payments in coordination with the business development and project management teams. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Monitor budgets and assist in forecasting and financial planning. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies. Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and vendors as needed. Process payroll or coordinate with payroll service providers. Maintain and update accounting records and documentation. Support process improvement initiatives to enhance financial operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (experience in a creative, media, or service-based company is an added advantage). Hands-on experience with Tally is mandatory. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting. Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
