Job Description: Oracle Apps DBA (with OCI Experience) Position Title: Oracle Applications DBA Experience: 7+ Years Location: [Location / Remote / Hybrid] Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Applications DBA with strong experience in managing Oracle E-Business Suite (R12/12.2.x) environments along with exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, patching, cloning, backup, and performance tuning of Oracle EBS and Oracle databases (19c/21c) on both on-premise and cloud (OCI) platforms. Key Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day administration of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environments including installation, cloning, patching (adpatch, adop), concurrent manager troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Manage Oracle databases (19c/21c) install, upgrade, patch, backup, and performance tune using Data Guard, RMAN, and other tools. Handle OCI services such as Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Load Balancer, Autonomous DB, and VPN configurations for Oracle EBS hosting. Implement and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) setups both on-prem and in OCI. Perform EBS cloning and refresh activities across different environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod). Manage Patching Lifecycle (CPU, PSU, EBS Recommended Patches) and system upgrades. Monitor system health and performance, ensuring 24x7 availability and performance SLAs are met. Automate and improve administrative tasks using shell scripting and OCI CLI/API where possible. Coordinate with Oracle Support (SRs) for issue resolution. Support EBS integrations via ISG, SOA, and third-party tools. Implement and manage security practices for EBS and Oracle DB environments. Participate in on-call support rotation and incident management. Preferred candidate profile : OCI Adminstation, Experience in Automation for cloning,DB rebuild, EBS 12.2 Patching, Performenece tuning, ECC. Role & responsibilities
