We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle DBA to lead the administration, optimization, and security of our Oracle database landscape, including mission-critical systems supporting enterprise applications like SAP. This role requires deep Oracle expertise, along with exposure to SAP Basis-related database administration to support SAP environments running on Oracle. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Oracle database technologies, high availability architecture, and hands-on experience with SAP-Oracle integration or collaboration with SAP Basis teams. Key Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, 21c) in production, development, and QA environments. Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations (including platform and cross-version migrations). Optimize database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques. Manage high availability and disaster recovery configurations using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate. Implement and test robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and/or third-party tools. Automate administrative tasks and reporting using shell scripting, PL/SQL, or Python. Collaborate with SAP Basis team to support SAP systems using Oracle, including performance tuning and backup coordination. Ensure database compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards (SOX, ISO, etc.). Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure scaling, and cloud database strategy (OCI, AWS RDS, etc.).
