Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Research and Development (R&D) Specialist. The R&D Specialist will be responsible for conducting research, developing new products, experimenting and analyzing data in laboratory settings, and collaborating with the team to advance Lemnae’s mission. Day-to-day tasks include designing and executing experiments, analyzing findings, and documenting results to drive innovation and sustainability in our products. Key Responsibility Collection, isolation, and identification of plant strains. Conduct lab-based cultivation experiments to study growth, yield, and nutrition. Maintain experimental logs, plant culture records, and growth conditions. Work with external labs for advanced tests like DNA sequencing and nutrient analysis. Contribute to SOPs, documentation, and possible publications or IP filings. Qualifications Research and Development (R&D) skills and Laboratory skills Strong Analytical skills Excellent Communication and Research skills Strong documentation and data interpretation skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment MSc in Botany , Plant Biotechnology , Agricultural Science , or Aquatic Biology . Prior experience with aquatic plants, hydroponics, or plant tissue culture is highly desirable. Strong interest in sustainable agriculture, plant-based nutrition, or agri-biotech.
