As a Senior BIM Engineer at our company, your role will involve executing and managing BIM/digital engineering work to drive innovation in design and construction projects. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality and timely BIM/digital engineering services in alignment with the Leightons Digital Engineering Initiative and standards. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead BIM/digital engineering coordination and management on projects. - Implement and execute BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and provide training to BIM/CAD teams. - Proficiency in using Tekla software. - Generate and review 3D models and construction drawings using approved software like Revit, Navisworks, OpenBuilding, etc. - Manage and mentor a team of BIM modellers/CAD drafters. - Support tender submissions by creating BIM models and documentation. - Develop and maintain BIM management tools for tracking and reporting deliverables. - Ensure all BIM models and drawings comply with company standards and resolve any non-compliance issues. - Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Construction, Design, IT, Pre-Contracts) and external stakeholders (vendors, consultants, clients). **Qualifications & Experience:** - BIM Certification or equivalent. - 8-10 years of relevant experience in BIM coordination and management. - Proficient in Autodesk and Bentley tools, especially Revit, Navisworks, OpenBuilding. - Knowledge of ISO19650 and other BIM/digital engineering standards. - Experience with Common Data Environment (CDE) implementation and multi-disciplinary coordination. - Strong understanding of architecture, civil, and structural engineering design. In addition to the above, your role will require: - Advanced BIM modelling, coordination, and BEP implementation skills. - Hands-on experience with BIM authoring tools like Revit, Civil 3D, Tekla, etc. - Ability to generate construction shop drawings and perform clash analysis. - Strong leadership, training, and mentoring abilities. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. - Passion for digital technology in construction and a strong work ethic.
