Learning Operations Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS inquiries from learners, managers, instructors, and administrators.
• Administer and maintain LMS components including learning items, curricula, programs, classes, catalogs, assignment profiles, and learning assignments.
• Troubleshoot issues related to course assignments, completions, registrations, transcripts, certifications, notifications, reporting, content launches, and user access.
• Manage and resolve support tickets, escalating issues to HRIT, SAP SuccessFactors Support, or vendors when needed.
• Test system updates, patches, enhancements, and releases before deployment.
• Generate and analyze LMS reports on compliance, training completion, certifications, and learning metrics.
• Ensure data accuracy, reporting integrity, and provide learning insights to stakeholders.
• Support instructor-led training (ILT) logistics, scheduling, attendance tracking, and instructor assistance.
• Create and distribute learning communications, reminders, and training updates.
• Assist with Learning & Development projects, documentation, and project tracking.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• 5-8 years of experience in LMS administration, preferably

• Hands-on experience managing learning items, curricula, programs, assignments, catalogs, and learner records.
• Strong experience troubleshooting LMS issues and working with technical support teams.
• Knowledge of SCORM standards and eLearning content management.
• Experience with LMS reporting, analytics, data integrity, system testing, and release validation.
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable LMS solutions.
• Strong understanding of LMS architecture, integrations, and administration across multiple modules.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting instructor-led training (ILT) logistics.
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and L&D best practices.
• Basic project management and coordination experience.
