Lead Software Engineer - Python for AI

As a Technical Lead in Python at Soliton Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for designing and implementing software for various applications such as Measurement & Automation, Semiconductor Post-Silicon Validation, and Cross-platform device GUIs. Soliton is a 25+ year company serving top semiconductor companies globally, and you will be part of a new team dedicated to solving challenging problems using GenAI advancements. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Technical Expertise** - Architect and Design service-based systems including frontend, backend, databases, and AI services. - Configure, Deploy, and Scale systems using cloud infrastructure like Azure and AWS. - Develop, Codevelop, and Guide the team from proposed architecture to a functional solution. - Establish best coding practices for developing user interfaces. - **Lead the Team to Excellence and Innovation** - Generate and propose innovative ideas with impact analyses to customers. - Set high standards for quality and attention to detail in delivering impactful solutions. - Work with the Agile team to create a common purpose and analyze performance metrics. - Implement detailed designs with required prototypes to explore new concepts. - **Be A Great Communicator and Leader** - Understand customer requirements and priorities for detailed estimation and planning. - Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical support. - Report project status to senior team members and participate in project meetings. **Qualifications:** - Extensive Python development experience (5-10 years) with an engineering graduation, preferably electronics background. - Proficiency in Python asynchronous programming (asyncio) and microservices architecture. - Good understanding of design patterns, Multithreading concepts, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks like pytest, and DevOps practices. - Experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI and Django for API-driven applications. **Good to Have:** - Experience in cloud platforms like Azure/AWS, data frameworks like LlamaIndex and LangChain. - Academic knowledge or work experience in GenAI and self-driven projects would be a plus.
