Lead Senior Software Automotive Android Engineer

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Lead/Senior Software Engineer with extensive expertise in Android Automotive to join our automotive infotainment software development team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Android system development, a thorough understanding of AOSP, and hands-on experience in automotive connectivity and multimedia features. This position necessitates robust collaboration, technical leadership, and the capability to deliver top-notch software in a fast-paced setting. The candidate must have 6+ years of hands-on software development experience and profound knowledge of AOSP (Android Open Source Project) or Android Automotive. Proficiency in Android Studio, Java, and Kotlin is essential, along with experience in source control tools like Git and repo. Domain experience in connectivity (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) and/or multimedia/audio systems is also required. Additionally, excellent spoken and written English communication skills are a must. As a Lead/Senior Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include leading or contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of Android-based applications and services for automotive systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize performance and reliability of automotive Android features, debug complex issues, participate in code reviews and technical planning, ensure high code quality through testing and automation, and contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing across the team.
