Lead React Developer

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Lead React Developer with 7-8 years of frontend development experience, including 5+ years in React, and a proven track record of building scalable applications and mentoring developers.

Technical Skills

• React 18+, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript (advanced)
• HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Design
• Redux Toolkit, Zustand/Jotai, TanStack Query
• REST APIs; GraphQL/WebSockets a plus
• WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA accessibility practices; ARIA, keyboard, focus management
• Unit/component testing (Vitest/Jest + Testing Library), API mocking (MSW), and Playwright E2E
• Productive use of AI-assisted developer tooling (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) to accelerate day-to-day frontend development
• Git

Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture for scalable, high-performance web applications.
• Use a deep knowledge of React internals, rendering and performance to optimize applications.
• Lead code reviews, set engineering standards and mentor developers.
• Make sure applications meet security, accessibility and performance standards.
• Work with product, design and backend teams to deliver high-quality features.

Good to Have

• Next.js (App Router, Server Components)
• Design Systems, Storybook or component libraries
• CI/CD, Webpack/Vite, Sentry/Datadog
• SSR, code splitting, lazy loading
