Role Description Job Title: CI/CD Automation Engineer Location: Any UST Location Experience: 9 to 12 years Mandatory Skills: Python Development, Shell Scripting, CI/CD, Automation Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CI/CD Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automating Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, utilizing tools and technologies such as Python, Shell Scripting, and CI/CD frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions to ensure seamless integration and deployment processes. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools and frameworks. Write, debug, and maintain Python and Shell scripts to automate processes and integrate systems. Develop and manage build, test, and deployment automation processes for various applications. Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration of code and reduce deployment times. Troubleshoot issues related to CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and environments. Continuously evaluate and improve the CI/CD processes, recommending new tools and techniques where appropriate. Ensure that systems are secure, reliable, and scalable for continuous integration and deployment. Required Skills & Experience 9 to 12 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on automation and CI/CD. Expertise in Python Development for automating and enhancing software development and deployment pipelines. Proficiency in Shell Scripting to automate system tasks and create flexible solutions. In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Travis CI) and pipeline configuration. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with cloud platforms (Only AZURE) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Ability to work effectively in an agile environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Preferred Qualifications Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest). Exposure to infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
