Role Description Work Location: Any UST Location We are seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of a cutting-edge, NLP-driven Self-Serve Reporting Platform developed. This platform utilizes Natural Language Processing (powered by the Azure OpenAI GPT-4o model), Google BigQuery, and GCP for real-time analytics, enabling stakeholders to generate reports and insights from conversational prompts. The QA Engineer will play a critical role in designing and executing test plans, validating data integrity, and ensuring that the natural-language features yield accurate, secure, and compliant outcomes. In this role, you will create and manage detailed test cases, perform functional and integration testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects quickly. You will also be responsible for validating the system’s ability to handle large datasets (up to 1TB), ensuring that generated visualizations and analytics meet user requirements. By conducting load and stress testing, you will help the project team confirm that the platform can handle multiple simultaneous queries without performance degradation. Additionally, you will help maintain compliance with key security and privacy standards, including HIPAA and PHI/PII regulations. We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and at least three years of QA experience in data-intensive or AI-centric projects. Proficiency in SQL is crucial to verifying data outputs, along with familiarity in working with GCP/BigQuery and modern test management tools such as Jira. Hands-on experience with security best practices, excellent analytical skills, and strong communication abilities are also essential.
