Prepare and submit applications for ISI (Indian Standards Institute) and BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification. Liaise with BIS officials for factory audits, product testing, and follow-up documentation. Coordinate with testing laboratories (like NABL) for sample testing. Ensure documentation compliance per relevant Indian Standards (e.g., IS 694, IS 3854, etc.). Maintain records of test reports, quality plans, and control documents. Third-Party Inspection Conduct and supervise third-party inspections (TPI) for clients or certification bodies. Review electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and compliance reports. Validate installation, manufacturing, or assembly against approved standards/specifications. Issue inspection reports and NCRs (non-conformance reports) when necessary. ISO Certification Support company compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality) , ISO 14001 (Environment) , and ISO 45001 (Safety) . Develop and maintain documentation: SOPs, Work Instructions, QMS/EMS/OHSMS. Participate in internal and external audits. Implement corrective/preventive actions based on audit findings. General Engineering Duties Work with design, production, and quality teams to improve product compliance. Provide technical support for product testing and validation. Ensure continuous improvement in line with international best practices.
