* Sr Civil Engineer RCC specialist * Responsible for Executing work as per approved work methodology. * Reporting to PM * Carry out technical supervision of ongoing civil work. * Coordinate with sub-contractors and other agencies to maintain the planned progress of construction work. * Exercise vigilance and control wastage of materials and equipment time and to improve quality of workmanship. * Work out the requirement of different materials required for construction, prepare necessary requisition, and check the material received for suitability of use. * Assist his senior engineers in maintaining quality of all civil work such as concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring and any other construction activity for the day. * Collect departmental labor payments from the Head Office and to make payments to the laborers with due documentation. * Check the quality of the concrete blocks manufactured, along with their record. * Convey all necessary instructions to supervisors and labourers. * Purchase (if required) the material for daily use from the market as per specifications. * Prepare and submit monthly material consumption reports, daily progress reports with assistance from storekeeper and supervisor. * Assist the Senior Engineer in preparing bills of different sub-contractors and vendors. * Control stores in absence of the storekeeper and maintain temporary record of all the transactions. * Raise damage claims against the concerned agencies for minor/major wastages occurred on site. * Collect the drawings from Architect/Structural consultant and check for any apparent discrepancy. * Convey the requirement of materials to Senior Engineer / Project Engineer.
