As a Research & Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and testing of our new range of products. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with the R&D team to develop functional design concepts, testing existing designs, and managing the implementation of development projects. Additionally, you may lead the redesign efforts for our current product line. To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional mathematical skills, a keen eye for design, and proven experience in team management. Successful R&D engineers leverage their technical expertise to create innovative, cost-effective, and user-friendly products. Your qualifications should include a degree in Electronics & Communication, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Electrical, or Mechanical engineering. This is a full-time position with remuneration to be determined based on your skills and experience. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborating with business management, marketing, and the R&D team to brainstorm and discuss product ideas. - Conducting thorough market research and analyzing similar products and their functionalities. - Working closely with engineering and marketing departments to assess product feasibility. - Enhancing the functionality or reducing costs of existing products through redesign efforts. - Developing design projects and detailed specification sheets. - Presenting your product designs to management and stakeholders for feedback and approval. - Supervising the engineering of product prototypes and overseeing testing procedures. - Ensuring prototype products meet standards for functionality, ease-of-use, and durability. - Addressing any product issues that arise and managing the production process effectively.
