Key Responsibilities: - *Welding:* Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding, to join metal parts and structures. - *Fitting:* Assemble, fit, and repair metal parts and structures, ensuring precise measurements and tolerances. - *Fabrication:* Fabricate metal components and structures according to specifications and blueprints. - *Inspection:* Inspect welds and fittings for quality and accuracy, identifying and correcting any defects or issues. - *Safety:* Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. - *Maintenance:* Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools. Requirements: - *Experience:* Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or in a similar role. - *Skills:* Strong welding and fitting skills, with knowledge of various welding techniques and safety protocols. - *Certifications:* Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) and/or relevant trade certifications are desirable. - *Physical Ability:* Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, lifting heavy objects and working in awkward positions.
