The Role

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with a solid grasp of Java and a passion for learning modern DevOps practices. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are comfortable with cloud platforms and are eager to grow their expertise in automation, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines in a collaborative, agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and quality of the X-Sight platform
• Participate in coding, code reviews, design discussions, and test automation
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins
• Work closely with Agile teams and platform leads to ensure deployment readiness
• Assist in infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform or similar)
• Ensure platform stability by monitoring and resolving basic system-level issues
• Write unit tests and contribute to automated testing practices
• Collaborate across teams to continuously improve processes and delivery workflows

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong interest in DevOps and platform development
• Willingness to learn new tools, cloud concepts, and infrastructure practices
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Core Skills

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Java
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native architectures
• Understanding of Linux systems and scripting basics
• CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)
• Exposure to Terraform or similar IaC tools (preferred)

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of Git workflows
• Familiarity with Agile delivery and Scrum processes
• Previous experience working in platform or DevOps projects

What Makes you a Great Fit

• 1+ year of experience with Java development
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud-native architectures
• Understanding of Linux systems and basic scripting
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins
