Job Title: Accountant Location: Pune Experience Required: 2–3 years Employment Type: Full-Time Reporting To: Technical Head Salary: As per industry standards Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency in Tally or other accounting software, and the ability to manage day-to-day financial transactions and compliance tasks efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and update books of accounts (journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, etc.) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, bank reconciliations, and petty cash Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other tax filings and compliance with statutory regulations Coordinate with external auditors during audits and assist in audit documentation Generate MIS reports for management and assist in budgeting and forecasting Assist in payroll processing and employee reimbursements Track project-wise expenses and prepare cost analysis reports Manage vendor and contractor payments, and maintain supporting documents Maintain records of invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field; M.Com/MBA (Finance will be added benefit). 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and other accounting tools Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliances Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently High level of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Attributes: Experience in working with NGOs, training organizations, or project-based accounting Familiarity with financial documentation for government/CSR-funded projects Exposure to handling bank reconciliations and vendor management in real-time Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 15/06/2025 Expected Start Date: 16/06/2025
