Job description Role: Draftsman/ Design engineer (only from Process equipment manufacturer) MAIN PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF JOB: To Provide drafting/modeling support for projects and product related activities. MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Prepare detailed layouts in Solid Works and AutoCAD based on inputs from Designers/ Analysts/ Project engineers. 2. Prepare detail drawings of assemblies, machined parts and weldments 3. Check interfaces and tolerances to ensure compliance with customer requirements 4. Create and maintain a library of standard parts, product models and drawings 5. Maintain an accurate record of the work performed in company timesheet regularly Desired Candidate Profile: Minimum Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-5 years of practical modeling and drafting experience in Engineering /Design Product Development environment. Manufacturing experience with an emphasis on design for manufacturability is desirable.
