Key Responsibilities: ● Perform routine electrical maintenance, including lighting, wiring, switchgear, distribution boards, and safety devices. ● Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house systems. ● Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations. ● Maintain and repair small appliances, HVAC components (electrical side), water heaters, kitchen equipment, etc. ● Monitor power consumption and assist in energy-saving initiatives. ● Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff promptly and professionally. ● Maintain accurate records of work done, materials used, and time taken. ● Support plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance activities as needed. ● Coordinate with vendors and service providers for specialized electrical tasks. ● Ensure adherence to hotel health & safety standards at all times. ● Be on-call for emergencies as per shift rotation. Qualifications & Skills: ● ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant certification. ● Minimum 2–3 years of experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance. ● Proven expertise in electrical troubleshooting and repairs. ● Familiarity with LT/HT systems, control panels, and backup generators is a plus. ● Knowledge of building systems like elevators, fire alarms, CCTV, and UPS systems. ● Ability to read electrical drawings and schematic diagrams. ● Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. ● Physically fit and able to work on ladders, rooftops, and confined spaces. ● Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
