JOB DESCRIPTION Technical Assistant TO COO (KOSCA DISTRIBUTION LLP) The Technical Assistant to COO role, is saddled with the responsibility of providing a wide level support that will allow the COO to function more efficiently and effectively in achieving the organisational objectives. A Technical Assistant provides a combination of administrative and technical support to the COO, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient communication. This role acts as a liaison between the COO and other stakeholders, manages the COO's schedule, prepares reports, and manages effective credit control and overall credit health for the organisation. This role majorly will manage customers demand fulfilment and credit management for the organisation. For any organisation to maintain a healthy cash flow and minimize bad debts they need a proper credit management which is why this role is very critical and indispensable. Experience 3-5Yrs. Key Responsibilities: - The main responsibilities and duties of a Technical Assistant includes: Assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers on a yearly basis. Ensuring correct and right amount of stocks are delivered to customers. Monitoring and tracking pending invoices. Ensuring all pending stocks are branches are cleared monthly 45days. Addressing and resolving payment discrepancies, disputes and billing issues. Debt collection and collaborating with Sales team on timely collections. Maintaining accurate records of customers' payment history and debt recovery efforts. Building and maintaining solid relationships with the BMs, Sales team and debtors while enforcing payment obligations. Conduct monthly Accts Recevible reviews and ensure collection commitments are timely met by the sales team. Hence, strong numerical and analytical abilities are crucial in making informed decisions about order fulfilment and payment terms. Being capable of Working Under Pressure : The role often deals with high- pressure situations especially during month ends and during seasons. For instance, the role might need to chase overdue payments or resolve invoice disputes and most of the times the customers arent always friendly.
