About the job: Key responsibilities: A. Lead generation & outreach: 1. Make daily cold calls to prospective HoReCa clients (restaurants, hotels, caterers, QSRs). 2. Fix appointments and schedule product tastings with chefs, F&B managers, and purchasing heads. 3. Build and update a target prospect list segmented by geography & segment (banquets, hotels, caterers, and retail). B. Product sampling & tastings: 1. Coordinate product sample delivery to kitchens. 2. Be present at tastings, explain product USP (taste, cost, convenience, versatility). 3. Capture structured feedback (taste, operational fit, pricing concerns). 4. Share feedback with product & marketing team. C. CRM & data management: 1. Maintain CRM system with updated client data, interactions, movement of leads. 2. Record tasting outcomes, pipeline stage, and follow-up reminders. 3. Generate weekly sales pipeline reports with conversion analysis. D. Analytics & reporting: 1. Track sampling-to-conversion ratio, product acceptance, and objections raised. 2. Monitor competitor activity (pricing, offers, distribution presence). 3. Provide region-wise analytics on sales performance and tasting effectiveness. E. Relationship management: 1. Nurture ongoing chef and purchase manager relationships. 2. Act as the first point of contact for client queries, ensuring quick responses. 3. Support in building a chef advisory panel for continuous product feedback. F. Cross-functional collaboration: 1. Work with the marketing team to suggest local campaigns/events for visibility. 2. Support operations/logistics for on-time sample delivery. 3. Coordinate with finance on invoicing/payment follow-ups.
