Job Title: Restaurant Manager Department: Food & Beverage Reports To: F&B Manager / Operations Manager / General Manager Job Summary The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to ensure exceptional guest service, efficient staff management, quality food standards, and profitability. The role includes supervising staff, maintaining service standards, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with company policies and hygiene regulations. Key Responsibilities Operations & Service Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service flow Ensure high standards of guest service and handle guest complaints professionally Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are maintained at all times Staff Management Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff Conduct staff briefings and ongoing training sessions Monitor staff performance and conduct appraisals Ensure proper grooming, discipline, and adherence to SOPs Financial Management Control food, beverage, and labor costs Monitor sales, prepare daily reports, and achieve revenue targets Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control Minimize wastage and pilferage Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with FSSAI, health, safety, and hygiene standards Follow company policies and statutory requirements Ensure POS accuracy and cash handling procedures Guest Relations Build strong guest relationships and ensure repeat business Handle special events, reservations, and VIP guests Gather guest feedback and implement improvements Coordination Coordinate with kitchen, bar, purchasing, and housekeeping teams Liaise with vendors and suppliers as required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or Hospitality Minimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or hotel operations Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of F&B service standards and cost control Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office Ability to work flexible shifts Key Competencies Customer-focused approach Team leadership and motivation Problem-solving and decision-making Time management and organizational skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month Benefits: Flexible schedule Food provided Paid time off Provident Fund Work Location: In person
