Product basket consists of solar PV modules, On-Grid String Inverters, On-Grid Central Inverters, Off-Grid Inverters, Off-Grid and On-Grid Power Packs. About the Role The Project Management Leader (PML) is responsible for the overall financial, contractual, and timeline performance of the entire solar project portfolio. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction, serving as the primary liaison between the client, internal stakeholders (Engineering, Procurement, Execution), and finance. Responsibilities Strategic Project Planning: Develop and maintain the Master Project Schedule, aligning project timelines with contractual obligations and organizational capacity. Financial Management (P&L): Own the project P&L, including budget control, variance analysis, change order management, and ensuring positive cash flow for all projects. Risk & Contract Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks (technical, financial, contractual). Manage all client and vendor contracts, ensuring compliance and managing claims/disputes. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for external clients, financing parties, and regulatory bodies. Provide clear, accurate, and timely reporting to senior management. Process Governance: Establish and enforce Project Management Office (PMO) standards, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) across the project lifecycle. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Project Managers and Project Control teams, fostering a culture of accountability and results-orientation. Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering. MBA or a master's degree in engineering management is highly desirable. Mandatory: PMP/PRINCE2 Certification or equivalent. Deep commercial acumen and experience in handling large EPC contracts (FIDIC, etc.). Required Skills Project Margin: Achievement vs. Budgeted Profit Margin across the portfolio. Schedule Adherence: Percentage of projects completed within the baseline schedule (measured by On-Time Delivery - OTD). Cash Flow: Quarterly and Annual net positive cash flow from the EPC portfolio. Risk Mitigation: Number and severity of unmitigated critical risks. Preferred Skills Experience with solar projects. Strong leadership and team management skills.
