Conduct trials, refine formulations, and ensure product stability and consistency. Stay updated with global trends in spices, seasoning blends, and flavor profiles to create innovative products. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure all products meet regulatory standards and food safety compliance as per FSSAI and other relevant guidelines. Conduct regular product evaluations for sensory, physical, and chemical parameters. Research & Development: Work with cross-functional teams to identify new ingredients and technologies for better product performance and shelf-life enhancement. Collaborate with procurement to source and evaluate raw materials for product integrity and cost optimization. Market & Consumer Insights: Analyze consumer preferences and competitive offerings to drive product differentiation. Participate in consumer testing and feedback sessions to improve product appeal. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of formulations, batch trials, and testing protocols. Prepare technical dossiers and provide necessary product data for marketing and sales support. Qualifications and Skills Required:A bachelors/masters degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in the spice industry, specifically in developing new products. Strong understanding of flavor systems, spice extraction processes, and seasoning development. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the food sector, including labeling and export requirements. Hands-on experience with spice processing equipment and techniques. Proficiency in MS Office and software tools used for food formulation and analysis.
