Job Description :- A Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the upkeep and repair of mechanical systems within a facility, including machinery, pumps , boilers and other equipment , by performing routine inspections , preventive Maintenance , troubleshooting breakdowns and coordination repairs to ensure optimal operational efficiency and safety standards: often requiring strong technical knowledge of mechanical principles, hands on repair skills and the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues.Key Responsibilities :- 1. Preventive Maintenance - Conduct Regular Inspection and scheduled maintenance on mechanical equipment to identify potential problems before they occur , including lubrication, cleaning and component replacements.2. Troubleshooting & Repairs :-Diagnose malfunctions on mechanical systems, idnetify faulty components and perform neccesary repairs to replacements to restore equipment functionality.3. Emergency Response - Respond to equipment breakdowns during operations, quickly assess the issues and take immediate actions to minimize downtime. 4. Maintenance Planning - Develop and implement maintenance schedules , including part inventory management , to ensure optimal equipment reliabliy and performance 5. Documentation & Reporting - Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities , including repair details, parts used , and equipment performance data.6. Safety Compliance - Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while performing maintenance tasks , including proper use of tools and personal protective equipmentRequired Skills & Qualification :-Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Strong understanding of mechanical principles , including hydraulics , pneumatics , and power transmission systemhands on experience with various mechanical tools and equipment's Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematicsKnowledge of computerized maintenance management system Familiarity with relevant safety standard and regulationsRole & responsibilities
